Is Vorynce on the App Store?

Vorynce is completing pre-release TestFlight validation before any App Store review submission. Join the waitlist to get notified when the app launches.

What iOS version do I need?

Vorynce requires iOS 17.0 or later. Apple Intelligence features (AI task extraction) require iOS 18.2+ on an Apple Intelligence-eligible device (iPhone 15 Pro / iPhone 16 family, iPad with M1 chip or later, or Mac with Apple Silicon). On devices without Apple Intelligence, full transcription works and a graceful message explains that AI task extraction is not available on this device.

Does my voice get sent to a server?

No. Your voice recordings are processed entirely on-device using Apple's Speech framework for transcription and Apple Intelligence for task extraction. No audio data is ever uploaded to a Foculoom server or any third-party server. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

What if my device doesn't have Apple Intelligence?

Vorynce is designed for graceful degradation. On devices without Apple Intelligence (or running iOS versions below 18.2), full voice recording and on-device transcription still work. The AI task extraction feature will show a clear message explaining that it requires Apple Intelligence and is unavailable on the current device. You can still use all other features normally.

Is Vorynce free?

Yes, Vorynce v1.0 is free to download and use with no ads, no subscriptions, and no in-app purchases. Future versions may introduce premium features; any changes will be clearly communicated before they take effect.

Can I delete my recordings?

Yes. You can delete individual recordings, transcriptions, or journal entries at any time directly in the app. Deleting the app from your device will also remove all locally stored data. If you have iCloud backup enabled, recordings may persist in your backup until the next backup cycle.
